Tea fit for a running Princess at the Grand Floridian

Princesses need a little time out to relax, chat, and be served.  Princess half weekend we took a brake Friday afternoon to have tea at the Grand Floridian Garden View Tea Room.  It was so worth it!  I loved seeing everyone and having time to get to know some of my fellow runners.  They served us three lovely courses along with tea! Among the guests attending was our very special secret prince...Mr. runDisney himself Dennis Marsico!  Our Princesses were Amy Smith, Anna Louise Downing, Bettina Dubois Muscara, Brittany Falkowitz, Deanna Page DonFrancisco, Deborah Duff, Erica Spencer, Erin Williams, Gwendolyn Rucker, Holly Batura, Jamie Duff Plucker, Jen Remetta Lombardi, Jennifer Beckner Golden, Jennifer Holler, Jennifer Pelham, Kim Alberts Requa, Lena MacLennan, Linda Bachand-Doucet, Mandie Moyer Koch, Marcia Barton, Mary Hoyt, Monica Clemence, Nicole Decker, Patty Moyer, Sandy Stahl, Sharri Stewart, Shelly Williams, Stephanie Federer, and Stephanie Nartowt.  If you were at the tea you are in the photo album!  So take a moment and have a look at all the fun that was had on an afternoon in February when we all took a moment to stop and smell the roses...in our tea!

Thank you for attending one and all...especially Prince Dennis!  He came to the Grand Floridian and spent the afternoon with us because he knew we would really appreciate him being there even though the crew was busy elsewhere.  It was definitely one of the highlights of my race weekend.  There is never enough time to talk to everyone, but I really enjoyed getting to know you all a little bit better.  Everyone is so amazing and  we all have so much to offer.  Thank you for sharing your time and your stories with me!

  1. That looks like it was the best event! I wish I could have joined! I hope we get to meet up in June!

While it won't be the same-I do want to try out the Grand Floridian Tea, even if Mr. Disney won't be there-I think my mom and daughter would LOVE IT!

    1. There is no doubt that the tea room experience at the Grand Floridian is a must do whenever you get a chance! It is one of those very special venues where time stops and you get to have a moment with the ones you are with! It met and exceeded my expectations for this event. The staff was amazing! I will be forever grateful to Dennis for taking the time to make the afternoon that much more special for 30 very lucky Princesses. After all what is a Princess Tea without that one very special Prince?

I really do hope we get to meet in June at #DisneyRunFest '13! https://www.facebook.com/events/403314696409451/

  5. A standout experience in an already fabulous weekend! Thank you again, Erin, for doing this. I made friends with all of the awesome ladies at my table and we keep up with each other now on FB. I wasn't planning to run PHM next year, but if this ends up becoming an 'annual event' - then I just might have to come back. Hugs, Monica
